We trekked to snowy Michigan this weekend in the luxury of Graham and Kim's subaru wagon. Benjamin did great for the first time on a road trip!!! (we think that Steven and I sitting on either side of him made a huge difference). We enjoyed celebrating Christmas a week early with mom and dad (nana and papa). We also had the opportunity to celebrate mom's birthday (which is today). We had fun being together, and Benjamin got lots of attention. We're now getting ready to travel to out east this Friday morning and are looking forward to seeing the Bassetts, Dafeldeckers, and Kellams (and many other family members). Today we were lamenting the fact that Christmas time is so busy...seems counterproductive to what it really should be.
