Kathleen and I lead parallel lives...we got married exactly a month apart in 2004, and we both had our sons with the same midwife (my boss) in the same hospital 17 hours apart. Our due dates were three weeks apart, but I went two weeks late and Kathleen went about one week early. We had a party last night for the OB department and got to get all gussied up. We left our husbands at our respective homes to watch our sons...the tickets were too pricey to include us all. It was fun seeing all of our colleagues in clothes other than scrubs!
