Frosty the Snow Pyramid

We got several inches of snow last week, along with bitter cold temperatures. We ventured out as a family to make a snowman in our yard. Due to the cold, the snow was a dry, flaky snow...perfect for skiing, not so great for snowmen. We did the best we could and ended up making a pyramid using a bucket and packing it the best we could. Ben looked at it every morning. Sadly (and happily!), the temperature is now almost 60 degrees (nowhere else but the midwest, yes?). The snowman is now nothing but a carrot, a hat, and a rake in a heap on the ground.
