We had the wonderful privelege of having a spring "teaser" for the past few days. It is one of the wonderful things (and hard things) about living in the midwest. Just when you think you can't take another day of cold, grey, blisteringly cold weather....you get a day or two that inspires hope in us all. We had 60-70 degree weather for the past few days which allowed us to play at the park, take walks, see all the neighbors we haven't really seen in 6 months, and feel ALIVE! It was wonderful. Last night felt like May, so we seized the opportunity, grilled pork tenderloin, and ate outside! It was lovely. We all know it won't last, but we sure enjoyed the hope of what is to come...much like faith. We are inpsired by the knowledge and hope of what we cannot see, but will one day see face-to-face. Thank you, God, for that reminder! It is hard to go back to 30 degree weather and possibly snow this weekend, but the reminder will sustain us until spring really comes.
