Tuesday was our two year wedding anniversary! The day was sunny and beautiful, just like our wedding day. We both have commented on how it seems like we've been married longer since so much has happened since we wed...Wheaton house, getting pregnant, purchasing and rehabbing our bungalow, having Ben, working....phew! Its been a great whirlwind!
On Tuesday night we went to dinner at our favorite restaurant, Mykhas, in Glen Ellyn. Amy's co-worker and friend, Deb and her husband, Marc, watched Ben for us. The whole evening was a comedy of errors (getting off work late, traffic, forgetting the diaper bag, trying to get Ben to sleep). We had planned on getting dinner and a movie, but by the time we got to dinner, it was almost 8pm! We enjoyed the delicious flavors of Mykhas and savoring every bite. After hurriedly eating most of our meals, it was pure delight.
I'm so thankful to have married such an intelligent, godly, kind, loving, unselfish, and wonderful man as you, Steven. Here's to many more years together...
