Isn't it sad, at least a little bit of a letdown, to take down the Christmas tree? The house always feels so bare afterwards. As it was a constant source of entertainment for Benjamin, it is especially sad. He looked for it expectantly for the first 30 minutes or so after we took it down. It was good to do a deep clean of the floors and get things a little more organized, but I will miss the Christmas decorations (and so will Ben).

Ha-ha...I sense a little sarcasm :) I wish...actuaaly, you probably could, it just might take YEARS to decompose.
