We started the day with heart-shaped pancakes and finished with a special dinner for my sweeties, crystal glasses and all (for Steven and I). They both loved it!!! We had a romantic evening of watching "United 93", which we did not specifically choose for Valentines day, but it came from Netflix. You're never really in the mood to watch this kind of movie, so we just went for it. We had the disclaimer that we could turn it off at any point if it got gory or too disturbing. Although the content was disturbing (how could it not be?), it was very tastefully done. Although not a documentary, it felt much like one, presenting the facts without a lot of hype or excessive violence or gore. It made me realize just how much confusion occurred on that day, understandably. It was an unbelievable act. Thankfully, although I have had many nightmares about 9/11, this movie caused me to think without terrifying me. No nightmares yet, thank God!
