Akeelah and the Bee

We watched an excellent movie the other night called "Akeelah and the Bee" which is a new release (at least relatively new in our world as parents). It was a great movie, definitely a PG, and had a great story. For those who haven't seen it, we recommend it wholeheartedly. It made me think a lot of my Dad, who loves words. (Dad, the word Lagianappe was actually in the movie!). It was based on the documentary, Spellbound, which is now in our Netflix queue.
