First "real" Haircut

While in Holland this weekend, I took Ben to get his first real haircut with a professional. I was relieved to discover that I am not the only one who has a hard time cutting his hair! We took him to my dad's barber, Frank, who has been cutting my dads hair somewhere in the vicinity of 25 years. Ben wasn't into the whole thing, but he looks much less shaggy and much more like a little boy. It took my dad, me, and Frank to hold him still to get the job done. The other barber, Bob, wasn't attending anyone and had to leave the room due to all the racket :) Frank was very patient and did a great job! Alls well that ends well... Posted by Picasa

We always bribed Noah with a bag of gummy bears or smarties. We would put the bag in his lap and he would get so excited he forgot all about the haircut!
